ANTIOCH SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Every student must have a copy of the Diary book which should be brought to the school daily.
2. It is compulsory for all students and teachers to join the morning and afternoon assembly.
3. Students must reach the school before the first bell. Late comers will be awarded exemplary punishment.
4. All the students are expected to greet their Teachers during the school hours.
5. Students should maintain cleanliness and come to the school neat and tidy.
6. Students are not permitted to leave the school compound during school hours without the prior permission of the Principal. Students found bunking class will be severely dealt with and if the same student is found repeatedly committing the crime will eventually result in suspension.
7. No outside personal is allowed to interview and have interaction with the students without prior approval of the concerned authority.
8. Students are not allowed to raise funds/ donations/ contributions in the form of cash or kind inside the school premises from their fellow students for any purpose without the permission of the Principal.
9. Children should come in proper school uniform and must wear their identity card. Students without complete school uniform may be awarded suitable punishment as deemed fit by the teacher in charge.
10. English being the medium of instruction; students are expected to use only English during the school hours.
11. All students are encouraged to take part in co-curricular activities organized by the school. Students must participate in physical exercises, literary programs, social works and other as and when organized by the school. No one is exempted without prior permission of the concerned authority.
12. Parents/ Guardians are always welcome to the school to meet the Principal to discuss the progress of their wards.
13. Students are not permitted to take private tuitions from the teachers as it is against the RTE Acts. Any students or teachers violating this rule may be penalized as deem fit by the school authority.
14. Every student is responsible for the safe custody of his or her books and other belongings. No complain in this regard will be entertained.
HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATION
1. Every Hosteller should consider the hostel as their second home and therefore work and stay together in unity and harmony with one another.
2. Hosteller should bring all the necessary items that has been mentioned in the diary when they join the hostel.
3. Hostellers are not allowed to keep money, mobile phones or any electronic device with them in the hostel. In certain cases, the Wardens can take custody of their phones.
4. Gold or Silver necklace, earrings etc. and any kind of valuable ornaments should not be kept with the hosteller.
5. Hosteller should sleep in their respective bed. It is strictly forbidden to sleep together without special permission.
6. Hostellers are not allowed to exchange or borrow clothes from one another.
7. All the guardians/ parents should visit their wards only on Second Saturday and Fourth Saturday of the month.
8. Hostellers are not allowed to go home other than medical reasons.
9. Bringing in or keeping eatables in the hostel is prohibited other than on visiting days.
10. Guardians are not allowed to meet the hostellers during school or after school hours without the permission of the wardens.
11. Anyone found misbehaving and creating division in the hostel will be dealt strictly and may lead to suspension from the hostel.
12. Students found consuming any kind of tobacco substances, Alcohol etc will lead to suspension from the hostel.

EXAMINATIONS & FEE PAYMENTS
1. To be eligible for promotion to the next class, Students must sit and pass in the examination conducted.
2. Students with less than 80% attendance will not be allowed to sit in the promotion examination.
3. Textbooks, copybooks and other papers are not allowed inside the examination hall. Students resorting to unfair means during examination will be severely dealt with.
4. At the time of Admission, the fees structure will be released and put on the school information bulletin. Computer fees for one year is included in the Admission fees.
5. Monthly tuition fees must be paid at least on or before the 15th of each succeeding month. For example, fees for the month of June must be paid on or before July 15.
However, during the Half Yearly and Final Exams, fees are collected in Advance.
6. School fees and Smartclass fees are chargeable for 12 months calendar. SmartClass Fees upto September is included in the Admission fees. The second installment should be paid by the month of September.
7. The school follows CBSE curriculum, or as prescribed by NCERT.
8. The Yearly Assessment is divided into two terms: Term 1 and Term 2.
Term 1 consists of 1st quarterly and Half Yearly Syllabus.
1st quarterly carries a weightage of 10%, Half yearly 80%, Internal Assessment 10%
(Notebook Assessment 5% and Subject Enrichment 5%)
Term 2 consists of 2nd quarterly and Final Syllabus.
2nd quarterly carries a weightage of 10%, Final 80%, Internal Assessment 10%
(Notebook Assessment 5% and Subject Enrichment 5%)
9. The overall marks and grades are computed by taking the average percentage of Term 1 and Term 2.
